This was a find for me. Trolling iTunes last week checking out the "what's free" stuff I found a free download for Punching in a Dream. Th e user reviews year very positive referencing groups like MGMT and M83. I thought "what the hell" and grabbed it without even listening to it.
Five minutes later I had bought the whole album and can't stop listening to it. Yeah , they do have similar sounds to MGMT et al , for me being a child of the 80's, this album sent me back to the glory days of
Siouxsie and the Banshees ,
OMD ,
The Cure and even a bit of
Tears for Fears.
Young Blood is a great pop single -
But my favorite on the album is The Sun
put your favorite headphones on, crank 'em up and listen as this builds from the soft piano in the beginning to a surround-you-with-a-wall-of-sound that'll make your head vibrate...
